Secret Service agents arrest Home Depot employee over nearly $400K counterfeit scheme

Feb. 5 (UPI) — U.S. Secret Service dealers have arrested a home Depot employee for an alleged scheme related to nearly $FOUR HUNDRED,000 in counterfeit money bearing the word “PLAYMONEY” instead of actual serial numbers.

Adrian Jean Pineda, who labored as a vault affiliate in Tempe, Ariz., has been accused of swapping authentic currency from Home Depot’s deposits with counterfeit currency all the way through his shift, consistent with a prison criticism filed Friday. From 2018 to this previous month, the company recorded $387,500 in losses from the alleged change.
