Police begin arresting ‘Freedom Convoy’ protesters in Canadian capital

Feb. 18 (UPI) — Canadian government began arresting protesters in Ottawa early Friday who have been concerned with the “Freedom Convoy” demonstrations, together with of the main organizers.

The convoy protests had been going for three weeks and are influenced via COVID-19 mandates. They initially involved mainly truckers, but grew as different dissenting civilians joined the motion. For every week, the protests closed the Ambassador Bridge between Windsor, Ontario, and Detroit.
