SEOUL, Jan. 30 — North Korea fired an intermediate-range ballistic missile into the East Sea on Sunday, South Korea’s army said, raising fears that Pyongyang has inched toward its threatened suspension of a self-imposed moratorium on nuclear and lengthy-range missile tests.
The Joint Chiefs of Personnel stated it detected the missile, fired at a steep attitude from Mupyong-ri within the northern province of Jagang, at 7:FIFTY TWO a.m., and it flew about 497 miles at a most sensible altitude of one,243 mph.
