Jan. 25 (UPI) — Animal rescuers in Baltimore stated they were left scratching their heads while a big snapping turtle used to be discovered wandering in a gutter.
Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter said the huge snapping turtle was found Monday morning close to Cherry Hill Park, right through a time of year whilst the local snapping turtles are hibernating underwater.
“Some mysteries in lifestyles would possibly never be solved. Like, are we by myself in the universe? Which got here first: the hen or the egg? And, most significantly, how did this snapping turtle loved one finally end up roaming around Baltimore City?!” BARCS said in a Fb publish.
The snapping turtle is now “secure from the elements and will get the care he needs,” the post said.
BARCS stated the snapping turtle could be transferred to a natural world expert and at last back to the wild.
