Jan. 25 (UPI) — Rep. Jim Cooper, a Democrat from Tennessee, would possibly not run for re-election, he announced on Twitter Tuesday.
“Today I’m pronouncing that i will be able to now not run for re-election to Congress. After 32 years in administrative center, i will be able to be leaving Congress next year,” he said. “i cannot thank the people of Nashville sufficient. You backed me more than nearly anyone in Tennessee historical past.”
