Former Tennessee death row prisoner’s new life sentences to be concurrent

Feb. 1 (UPI) — A Tennessee pass judgement on has dominated that a former dying row inmate’s new existence sentences will be served on the similar time, which means he will be eligible for parole in five years.

Pervis Payne was first of all sentenced to death in 1988 for the slayings of Charisse Christopher, 28, and her 2-year-vintage daughter, Lacie Jo, in 1987 in Shelby County. Prosecutors stated he also non-fatally injured Christopher’s THREE-yr-antique son, Nicholas.
