Jan. 14 (UPI) — A wallaby that escaped from a Belgian game park was once adequately recaptured when the marsupial used to be noticed within the house after a couple of days at the loose.

The Ark Van Noe recreation park in Lichtaart, Antwerp, stated the wallaby, named Skippy, used to be captured Wednesday night time while he was seen wandering close to the park, and a veterinarian was once summoned to safely tranquilize the Australian animal.

The park said Skippy had escaped from his enclosure in advance within the week and used to be noticed wandering in the Geel house, a number of miles from the park, all over his time at the free.

The park stated in a Facebook publish that Skippy, a “nationwide hero,” will go back to public show in a new enclosure in April.
