Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors member Sheila Kuehl was tipped off about an impending law enforcement raid on her house, according to text messages in a courtroom submitting, confirming previously complaints by L.A. County Sheriff Alex Villanueva.
The text messages, 1st received and documented by Steven Gregory of regional radio station KFI AM 640, recommend that Kuehl, a distinguished regional Democrat, could possibly have had options to terminate or ruin evidence in an ongoing corruption investigation.

As Breitbart News noted final week:
Kuehl is reportedly staying investigated around allegations of a “pay-to-play” contract for a sexual harassment hotline on the L.A. Metro community transportation procedure. The deal was awarded to a Kuehl donor, Patti Giggans, underneath a no-bid method.
The Situations observed that a barefoot Kuehl’s phone was seized, as she complained about the search and alleged that she was the sufferer of political bias within the Sheriff’s office environment.
County Sheriff Alex Villanueva has continuously clashed with the Board of Supervisors, opposing its attempts to “defund the police” and accusing it of failing to deal with the disaster of homelessness on the country’s streets. He also resisted initiatives by the county to impose vaccine mandates on the police drive. An angry Board of Supervisors has proposed a ballot initiative this November that would allow for them to dismiss the elected sheriff at will. Villanueva faces a tough reelection fight this drop.
Immediately after Villanueva complained to California Attorney Standard Rob Bonta about Kuehl allegedly becoming tipped off, Bonta did not examine Kuehl, but relatively removed the investigation from the L.A. County Sheriff’s Division and took command of it at the condition degree. As Breitabrt Information claimed:
In concept, the device inside the L.A. County Sheriff’s Office that investigates corruption is independent from Villanueva. But Democrats — ironically, echoing Donald Trump’s claims about the Department of Justice — assert there is political bias.
Villanueva wrote to Bonta previous week, complaining that Kuehl and her affiliate, Patti Giggans, appeared to have been tipped off in progress of the raid, likely letting them to cover or ruin evidence, and to raise allegations of political motives.
Bonta replied by using more than the investigation.
In a even further irony, Kuehl’s legal professionals are asking a neighborhood judge to appoint a exclusive master to go by means of most likely privileged products seized by law enforcement — just like [former President Donald] Trump [in the Mar-a-Lago case].
Kuehl was enthusiastic about coronavirus limitations, contacting these who complained about masks “snowflake weepies.” She infamously dined at an out of doors cafe after voting to ban out of doors dining in the county.
