Court declines to undo GOP-drawn North Carolina election maps

Jan. 11 (UPI) — A North Carolina trial courtroom on Tuesday ruled that congressional and legislative maps drawn by way of Republicans did not violate the state constitution amid accusations of gerrymandering.

the 3-pass judgement on panel, made up of 2 Republicans and one Democrat, unanimously ruled that redistricting used to be an inherently political procedure and is supposed to be that method.
