Biden administration asks Supreme Court to deny bond hearings for migrants

Jan. ELEVEN (UPI) — The Biden administration on Tuesday requested the Splendid Court Docket to deny bond hearings to detained migrants, a few of whom have been held for months as they wait for their instances to be resolved.

The Justice Department appealed circumstances to the Supreme Court Docket, asking justices to overturn lower courts’ rulings saying that migrants are entitled to a bond hearing if they are held longer than six months.
