Australia lists koalas as endangered species

Feb. ELEVEN (UPI) — The Australian govt on Saturday revealed that it had positioned koalas at the list for endangered species, upgrading their stage of danger from “vulnerable.”

The list used to be made after an review of 5 standards, assembly the threshold for endangered species standing because of their rate of inhabitants decline, according to a file providing conservation recommendation from the Australian Department of Agriculture.
