Appeals court keeps New York’s mask mandate in place for now

Jan. 25 (UPI) — An appeals court docket pass judgement on dominated Tuesday that New York’s indoor masks mandate will remain in effect as litigation at the COVID-19 mitigating measure keeps.

The ruling comes a day after Judge Thomas Rademaker, of the state Ultimate Courtroom in Nassau County, struck down Gov. Kathy Hochul’s mask mandate at the grounds it used to be unconstitutional.
